ABOUT THE PUNK MUSEUM

The Punk Museum, created in 2011 by the Hollywood underground artist Tequila Mockingbird, aims to preserve punk in art and culture.

Launched in downtown Los Angeles, the museum then moved to Hollywood. It is now a traveling structure, offering concerts and exhibitions related to punk, and more generally underground culture.

It was in this context that TEQUILA TV was born, a retrospective on underground art, offering reports and interviews and hosted by Tequila Mockingbird in person.

WHO'S TEQUILA MOCKINGBIRD?

If you don’t know Tequila Mockingbird, It’s probably because you are not from California! Indeed, this artist (she sings in in the group APOLLINAIRE and even have a duet with Nina Hagen), niece of Nancy Holloway, has always been very present in the punk movement.

PUNK MUSEUM + MONSTERZ TEA PARTY

In 2018, a partnership with Monsterz Tea Party was set up, during Nhell’s meeting with Tequila Mockingbird, thus promoting artistic exchanges between the two structures.

In 2021, Nhell takes over the PUNK MUSEUM FRANCE, and Monsterz Tea Party becomes the French base of the Punk Museum.
